About Us ...Undy Yarncrafts is situated in the village of Magor approximately 2 miles from the Second Severn Crossing in South Wales and about 20 miles from Cardiff, the Capital City of Wales. We have been supplying yarns, knitting machines and accessories to the domestic machine knitter for over 10 years. Undy Yarncrafts are completely dedicated to your total satisfaction. Our opening hours at the shop are normally 10.00am - 3.00pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday andf Friday . We can open at any other time by request, so please don't be afraid to ask. Making A Purchase ...Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click where indicated on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We do not sur-charge for payment by credit card. We accept Visa and Mastercard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. If you prefer you may send your credit card information via phone, fax, normal mail or over the Internet. For UK customers only, if you prefer you may pay by cheque or postal order made payable to 'Undy Yarncrafts'. Payment must be received before dispatch of goods. We always refund any excess. Official Orders are accepted for payment within 30 days subject to satisfactory references and order number. Payment for all overseas orders should be by Credit Card or Sterling Draft.

Shipping And Handling The catalogue automatically calculates shipping costs for you and allows you to choose the most economic or fastest method depending on your requirements. Simply choose the method of shipping you prefer from the options given at the checkout. Non UK or Europe destinations may be more economical if the order is split into lots of less than 2 kilos - then choose the small package rate. Please note that Small Packets sent by surface mail can take up to 8 weeks to arrive. Special carriage rates which include insurance may apply for machinery and certain accessories - we will advise you by e-mail in those cases before shipping. We do not include in our prices for local taxes or duties which may apply outside the EEC. Please check before ordering if necessary. Please note that we do not ship yarns or machinery to destinations outside the EEC.

Delivery Schedule ...Our policy is to fill 95% of orders from stock. Orders received before 12 noon GMT for items in stock will normally be dispatched the same day. If we are out of stock on any item we will send you the remainder of your order and notify you of the situation. International orders are generally received in under14 days but delivery time is not always predictable. Do not hesitate to contact us if you think something is wrong. For all areas please allow up to 28 days before contacting the carrier.

Back Orders ...If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Credit Card Security ...We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Guarantee ...We aim to guarantee your satisfaction. Do not accept any package if it appears damaged. Notify us immediately if you have refused a package. It is always advisable to sign for goods as 'Unexamined'. You must answer any enquiries from the carrier or we cannot accept any responsibilty for compensation. The packing materials must be kept for the carriers inspection. If for any reason you wish to return goods please let us know separately in writing or by Email quoting our invoice number and the reason for the return. Unless the goods are not of ' merchantable quality' we will issue a Credit Note on reciept of the goods.
